Am 11. und 12. April 2024 findet in Bonn die Tagung »An Ill-Shapen Pearl? The Neo-Latin Epigram in the Baroque« statt. Es handelt sich bereits um die zweite Veranstaltung zur neulateinischen Literatur, die aus der Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Abteilung für Griechische und Lateinische Philologie der Universität Bonn und der Faculty of Classics der Universität Oxford entstanden ist. Elf Forscher:innen aus Bonn und Oxford werden verschiedene Aspekte der neulateinischen Epigrammdichtung im Barock untersuchen. Alle Interessierten sind herzlich eingeladen, die Vorträge zu besuchen (Anmeldung nicht erforderlich).
